The Author
John Reginald, the author of the manual 'Central Heating - Fault Finding & Repair', soldered his first pipe fitting in 1977. With over a quarter of a century of plumbing and heating experience, John continues to enjoy the industry. Unlike many authors he still works with his tools and it is this 'hands on' approach that possibly makes him best qualified to write such a book.

He is a member of the Institute of Plumbing, a Registered Plumber, a Water Industry Approved Plumber, a Gas Safe Registered Engineer, a Registered Solid Fuel Engineer, is OFTEC Registered, is a member of the Institute of Domestic Heating Engineers and holds the City and Guilds Level III Energy Efficiency Certificate.

He also holds various installer competency registrations including Unvented Domestic Hot Water Systems. He regularly writes technical and review articles for trade and high street Plumbing and Heating magazines.
